Background / Experience

Rebecca is a social worker who worked in child protection, child abuse prevention and family support in the United States and England. Rebecca then spent a year in Bangkok working with an anti-human trafficking Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) as a social worker providing victim focused outreach, case management for those leaving trafficking and seeking safety, and partnership development with other NGOs and government organizations.

Most recently, Rebecca has lived and worked in New Hampshire with the New Hampshire Human Trafficking Collaborative Task Force.

Driven by the desire to improve systems by shifting from reactive, temporary solutions to real, lasting solutions which enable vulnerable people and communities to access resources, autonomy, dignity, and the type of justice they desire, on their terms. At The Root LLC focuses on agencies, projects and services that prioritize prevention and early intervention, providing holistic support to children, families, and communities.
