The Game

TASKMASTER is an extended game in which you, the participant, complete a series of creative, bizarre, and competitive challenges (or tasks) inspired by the TV show TASKMASTER (British). The tasks will range from physical challenges to creative puzzles on which you will be judged as the most creative, accurate, or fastest. Some of the tasks will be done independently at home before attending the gathering, while others will be done in teams or small groups when we’re gathered together in February and April.

The Rules

• Read carefully – the most important rule is to carefully read each task and all of its instructions – all of the information is on the tasks
• Safety First – players must not break the law or cause physical harm to themselves or others in order to complete a task
• Honesty – admit when you have cheated or failed
• Solo Tasks – remember that unless the task states otherwise, you are working on your own and will receive points independent of other people (including your partner/spouse), i.e. these tasks are just for you!
• Note: if the task says “Fastest wins.” that means the person to complete the task faster than anyone else gets the most points. All participants get points in direct relation to their speed.
